Why
Virtual Reality (360°)?
With
an increasing number of purchases and research taking place online,
only companies that provide the right information about the product
and service will survive. Virtual Reality (VR) photography for some
companies is often more suitable than still photography yet only
a few companies utilise its potential. Unlike rendered virtual reality
used in computer games, photographic VR shows every fine detail.
VR photography can be split into two types: Panoramic VR (interiors & exterior
environments) and Object VR (products). Panoramic VR allows exploration through
360° of a location. For example,
a venue may want to show a virtual tour of their ballroom and bar facilities.
Object VR allows an object to be seen from different angles. For instance,
an ice sculpture could be rotated showing its profile as well as highlighting
specific features.
